Kokonut Fid × Banana

The AI pre-accounting that powers Banana

Kokonut Fid automates journal entries and simplifies exchanges with your clients. When the journal is ready, you import it into Banana for the closing without double entry.

You close your books in Banana?

Keep doing so. Kokonut Fid does not replace Banana, it works upstream: the AI posts your documents, your clients send everything to one place, and you export a clean journal into Banana for the closing.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kokonut Fid replace Banana?

No. Kokonut Fid is an upstream pre-accounting tool and offers AI-assisted journalising features. You keep doing the closing, VAT and financial statements in Banana. Kokonut Fid feeds it, it does not replace it.

How do I export the journal to Banana?

Once the pre-accounting is validated in Kokonut Fid, you export the journal in Banana's import format, then import it into Banana.

Does the AI assign accounts and VAT?

Yes. Kokonut Fid suggests the posting (expense / income account) and the VAT code for every document. The fiduciary validates or corrects, and the export to Banana carries this information over.

Do my clients need to use Banana?

No. Your clients have no direct link with Kokonut Fid. Banana remains your fiduciary tool.

Is Banana's chart of accounts respected?

Yes. You map your chart of accounts once; every export then uses the account numbers Banana expects, with no rework.
